• From 2009 to 2010, the number of Latinos between 18 and 29 who were in line, jumped 75% to 85%, and the number of those cells increased from 81% to 90%.
• More than eight in ten Latinos (81%) born in the U.S. are online, compared with 54% of foreign-born Latinos.These rates of Internet use remained unchanged from 2009.
• Hispanics speaking English and bilingual Hispanics, are at relatively high rates of Internet use, which statistically unchanged from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, 81% of Hispanics speaking English were in line, like 74% of bilingual Hispanics. In comparison, less than half (47%) of Spanish dominant Hispanics were online in 2010. This is significantly lower than the rate of Internet use among Hispanics speaking English or bilingual, but also represents a significant increase from 2009 when only 36% of Spanish dominant Hispanics were online.
